Positive Thinking – The Absolute Power Behind Everything
Positive thinking! Does this bring a positive change in you? Find out more by reading on.
Positive thinking indeed is a powerful tool and it sends out a loud and clear message that greatness is achievable within the fraction of a second. You should believe this fact to realize its full benefits.
The supremacy of this positive thinking can be related to coaching oneself to gain success. Words being the most powerful tool available can provide additional self motivation to clear hassles that cloud your mind.
You cannot achieve success unless you believe consistently that you can achieve the tasks you set for yourself. If you tell yourself that you can’t run a marathon then you have already defeated yourself. If this is heard by your subconscious mind it records it and all that you can remember thereafter is that, ‘you can’t run a marathon’.
Most of us forget to realize that every person is important as all of them possess abilities to direct their thoughts and control their emotions which finallt craft their destiny. Wealth, happiness and success that you garner entirely depends on the way you set your mind.
Success comes to a person who has the power of thinking positively.
Positive thinking is nothing but an attitude or mental thought which leads to good results at the end. Along with this positive thinking, one must work towards achieving their goal as this in fact has the power to encourage and motivate people who are depressed with their life. Actually, positive thinking is a positive feeling which helps one pursue their goal, irrespective of the hindrances coming their way.
These are few tips and actions that can assist you in developing that positive thinking power:
* Always make use of positive words when you think or talk. Use words like: ‘it can be done’, ‘it is indeed possible’, ‘I can do it’, ‘I can’, etc.
* Allow feelings of success, strength and happiness to gain full control of your life.
* Try disregarding and ignoring those negative thoughts by refusing to think about them and replace them with the several other happy thoughts.
* While conversing, make use of words which can evoke mental feelings and images of success, happiness and strength.
* Prior to deciding upon any plan, visualize everything clearly and their successful outcome. Your visualization with faith and concentration can gain many successful results.
* Read almost one sheet of some inspiring novel everyday.
* Watch movies which can instill in you a feeling of happiness.
* Minimize the time-span of listening to news, instead of that read the newspapers.
* Associate yourself to the people who achieved great success by positive thinking.
* Always walk and sit with straightened back. This can in fact strengthen your inner strength and
confidence.
* Swim, walk or engage yourself in some kind of physical activities.
Remember that positive thinking can bring about positive forces to act in your life that can bring you success.
LET’S HEAL THE WORLD . . .ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
You would have to have your head in the sand or be an expert at self deception not to see that the world needs changing. If you’re the kind of person who aches inside when you see an injustice done and cries when you see a picture of an innocent victim of war, then you are the kind of person the world needs today.
Does the thought that you can make a difference frighten you? That’s good, because it shows that you really know that you can make a difference. If somebody said to you, “You can heal the world,” would you think they were talking to the wrong person? If so, you need to know that they aren’t.
You are that powerful.
“Oh, come on,” you say, “I’m nobody. I can’t make a difference.” Don’t think like that. Every positive thing you do for yourself or for others is a step forward in the process of healing the world. It has a ripple effect that spreads out throughout the world. If you choose to heal the world, you will be one of the growing army of those who are determined to heal this beautiful blue planet we share.
Mahatma Gandhi was nobody special when he took it upon himself to show India the way forward with nonviolent change. How did he do it? He believed in nonviolence and lived it and spread the word. It was Gandhi who said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” He lived his words and as a result, India gained its independence without shedding blood. That’s the kind of power you have, too.
You are never alone when you want to heal the world. The whole world is crying out for healing. You may feel alone when you see the indifference people show as they go about their day to day business of survival and ignore the problems of the world. In their hearts, though, most people want to make a positive difference. It just takes a few people like you to ignite the sparks of change in their hearts.
Martin Luther King once said, “Almost always, the creative dedicated minority has made the world better.” Look carefully at those words “creative” and “dedicated.” If, when you lie in bed at night, you dream of healing the world, you have already kindled the creative fires within yourself. Fan them with dedicated, passionate efforts and then you will learn firsthand how you can heal the world.
I Talk And Hang Out With My Dead Friends . . . .
Some of the strongest members of my Personal Success Support Community are dead. Napoleon Hill , Harry Truman, Winston Churchill and Dale Carnegie are a few of the men who have inspired me and kept me motivated all through my career. When things get tough or I need some encouragement, I make time to “talk” with these men. Let me explain . . . .
For the most part we stand alone in life. Yes, you may have friends, Family and colleagues in your life but when the day is done you’re standing by yourself and directing your own journey . Only you make the final decisions in your life. You may confer with your significant other or a friend but the final decision is yours.
Life is so complex and so intense sometimes that being able to embrace the proper support and counsel at anytime, day or night is , I think, so critical to success in your personal or professional life.
One way to achieve that opportunity is Biographies. Biographies can be inspirational and life changing in a number of ways, and will be remembered for the time in your life when you need this back up. Obviously it doesn’t matter if someone is alive or dead. The personal history of that person matters and what matters the most is how it affects and makes you feel.
It’s not only Biographies, it’s any book or article that inspires you, motivates you and gives you the strength to move forward for the next few moments or the next few days. Finding and storing Success sayings and quotes are another piece to have for your Success Support library. Buillding your own Success Support library and having it at your fingertips will be an essential piece of your own Personal Success Support community.
The following will allow you to have some of the support you need 24/7 when you need it . . . . .
1- Buy folders and file your articles and notes by category. Break them into the following:
Persistence; Success; Action ; Attitude; self Confidence;Positive Sayings; Positive Thinking to name a few.
2- Underline copy that moves you and tag the page with a post-it. Mark the post-it with the page number and a word or two about what is on that page.
Most of us, swimming against the tides of trouble the world knows nothing about, need only a bit of praise or encouragement – and we will make the goal. ~Jerome Fleishman

It’s impossible to cover everything below in one post. I will help you start and you must continue to do the research neccessary to strengthen every element below. . If one is missing or weak you will have a tough time succeeding. You must look to strengthen all of them every single day.
I suggest you get 7 file folders, mark each one with an element and accumulate all your information. Highlight and mark pages so that you could review the information anytime you want to.
Think of all the information below as a Sitemap or a Roadmap . . . . . Any questions? Feel free to reach out to me.
1-Dreams
This is where it all starts. This is where you need to “see it” or “feel it” or you cannot and will not move forward. Feeling that you are destined for great things and not being able to see exactly what it is right now is a great start. Don’t worry if you can’t see it today.
Embrace this feeling and be aware of it all the time. Read everything you can and meet and talk to old friends and new people to see what they’re up to. Embrace and nurture this feeling and your conscious and subconscious mind will become aware of, and will help you see, opportunities as they present themselves. Actually seeing what you want gives you the chance to focus your research and networking.
Either way the dream must inspire intense desire to enable you to move forward. Think Big . . . .Really Big. Don’t be afraid. Toss the bigger dream around in your mind for a couple of days and have fun and play with it. Play without judging it and you will see how incredible you feel when that big dream eventually feels comfortable and obtainable.
2-Emotions
The ups and downs that you will experience in the pursuit of success will be substantial and it’s enough to bring the strongest person to their knees at times. You must learn about how to control your emotions. It’s not easy but the good news is that it can be done and it’s all in your control. If you can only remember one thing then remember that you have the power to maintain and control your emotions.
3- Belief
If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won’t, you most assuredly won’t. Either way you’re going to be right. Belief is the ignition that will get that fire roaring. It will carry you through all the way to the finish line. You must believe in your dream but most important of all you must believe in YOU. Ask yourself “Why not me?” Make a list and then with a black magic marker cross off all the lame negative reasons. Rewrite the list with all the positive reasons and then title it ” THIS IS WHY I CAN BE SUCCESSFUL” . Stick it on a place where you’ll see it every day and then just move forward.
4-Desire
So you want to be an actor or a nurse or a millionaire? That’s nice. Well you may not get it. There is only one thing that is stronger that setbacks, failures, disasters and that’s Desire. Big Dreams plus Enormous Belief in yourself equals huge indestructible Desire. You have to need success, not merely want it. Needing it like you need food and water will put you miles ahead of the global competition.
5-Change
Change is coming! Change is Good! If you see change as your enemy it will smack you around plenty. You will defeat and short circuit yourself and your dream. You . . .and only YOU will be responsible for derailing your success journey. You cannot beat “change”. It’s indestructible.
Embrace change and you give yourself a daily pass to start all over every day. Change comes in waves, sometimes big and sometimes small. Change happens all the time. Sometimes it works against you . . .Deal with it . . . . . and sometimes it works for you. You need to have faith that in the end it will be ok and you will flourish and move forward. Your goal is to always move forward. Moving sideways and back is normal, and it will happen, but when a new day dawns you must be persistent and move forward. Keep changing your approach until you achieve your goal.
6-Support
This one is usually left out in the majority of personal development books and articles. The mastermind concept has been around many years and should be a part of your success support network but it should be only one part.
You need deeper mental and emotional support. The Lone Ranger stories are all fiction. If you take a closer look at any personal or professional success story you will see another person or persons who were an important part of the story.
You need people who feel you and care about you. A spouse, partner, friend, teacher, parent, counselor or lover will give you that deep emotional support you need to help you get over the finish line.
Don’t have that? That’s ok I never had it either. There are plenty of ways to get that support from reading. It’s been a huge part of my success.
The major point: Get that support; You are going to need it. It could be one person, one book, or many people and many books. Point is: Get your cheerleader(s) ready.
7- Never, never give up
I dont think this needs much of an explanation. How can you ever fail if you never, never give up? This is where the other elements kick in to support you. You also must be ready, able and willing to effect a new course of action that is needed to succeed. You must do what you can to stay standing. You do not Give Up, Give In or Go Home. Temporarily Retreat, regroup and rest is what you do if the situation is difficult. Tomorrow you start all over again!!!
“When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” ~Harriet Beecher Stowe
I wish you a lot of Luck. I’m part of your Success Support Network if you need me. You can make it.
Best wishes now and forever,
Barry
So You Think I’m Obsessed With The Concept Of Change?
So you think I’m obsessed with the concept of Change? . . . .Part one
My blog is all about change . . . What’s important to me now is to tell you how I define , feel about and embrace change.
Please forgive me for a little bit of self promotion: I own the following trademarks “Change is Good” “Loosen up Change is Good” “Loose Change” and “Change By The People”.
I own these trademarks for all apparel ; accesories ; All “Bags” i.e. back packs, gym bags etc ; All drinking vessels and cups. . . . .You can see the start of it on my new ecommerce apparel / success support network forum website at www.changebythepeople.com . The why and how of me owning them will come at a later date if anyone is really interested.
Today my life is totally immersed in the concept of change. Why? Why am I so obsessed with the concept? I have experienced mostly “challenging” change in my life over the past 4 years. Up to that point my life was all about success, onward and upward. I rolled over and through change like nobody could and change never had a thing on me. It tried but my attitude and self confidence was impervious. Today I still refuse to believe that “success’” has walked away from me and I refuse to let Change have its way with me. It was great to me for over 54 years. I’m bent on winning and I won’t give up.
What is the definition of Change? My totally favorite definition is “The process of becoming different.” Incredibly simple. Right? So what’s all the fuss?
I still get excited about Change. To me Change is about second chances. It’s about getting up in the morning and starting all over again. It’s knowing that I have a 50/50 chance of things working out the way I want them to. The way I see it you only have two choices when it comes to Change. You can only pick one of two doors to open and walk through . . . .
Two doors only . . . . Door #1: says “Pain/Rich,Famous,Happy (embrace change and be flexible and nimble) Door #2 says: Pain/Broke, invisible, miserable ( fight it and deny it access)
Of course the “pain of change” in both cases is different for everyone. It runs from mildly annoying to devastatingly crippling.
To me the phrase “Change is Good” is about Attitude, Positive Expectancy and Hope . I use it as a metaphor to remind me to stay positive and to also remind me that tomorrow is another opportunity to start all over again.
The older I get the more I realize the impact of Attitude on life. It’s all about Attitude. We have the freedom to decide what we will do when Change knocks on or breaks down the door. We cannot change the inevitable. Change is coming ! We embrace it and play the hand we get or fight it and totally turn our life upside down. It’s your attitude that will decide which road you go down.
I believe strongly that Life is 2% what happens to us and 98 % how we react to it. The Good and Bad News? It’s your choice.
More on this subject another time . . . . .
Good Luck
See you on the open road
Best Wishes
Barry
