The One Ingredient That Enables You To Have 365 Chances Every Year To Make Your Dreams Come True

By Barry Sarner

What’s the Ingredient? It’s Positive Expectancy and we all have it in our power to make it an integral part of our life. What is positive expectancy?

Positive Expectancy is all about “New Tomorrows” and the beautiful notion of “Starting Fresh” and “Starting over every day, any day”.

The simple reality of it all is that the world wakes up and the world goes to sleep. What happens in between for the most part plays out based on what choices we make all day. The choices could be as simple as deciding to sit on a bus instead of standing.

I had an accident months ago and I played it over and over again in my mind. I remember thinking to myself that if I had left the store when I planned and not gone back for something it would have been someone else and not me in the accident.

The point is that you make decisions and choices all day long. Some work out in your favor and some don’t and I say, so what. Why not decide to have an attitude that you’re a good person and that you have the right to expect good things to happen to you and for you? It’s a simple choice. It’s also a numbers game.

The more you believe that you’re worthy of good or great personal events the better chance you have of it coming true. Even if it happens initially only 20% of the time that’s better than zero times and zero times it will be if your expectations are low or nonexistent.

The exciting reality here is that the more you use, strengthen and adjust your positive expectancy attitude the more your success percentage will go up. Expecting good things to happen every day for you is a choice that every human being should be making. I promise you there’s no law, secular or religious, that says that you cannot expect great things to happen to you.

Your past does not determine what your life will be or could be. A firm decision to choose positive expectancy will start you on a journey of success and happiness. Patience and persistence will be the vehicles that get you to the finish line. All you have to realize and then commit to is the fact that you have the right to expect great things and that you’ll have great things happen to you.

You have the chance to start your life over 365 days per year. Every year you have 365 chances to make your Dreams come true. Expect good things every day. Every night and every morning tell yourself that although the day may have challenging and stressful situations you still will have good things happen to you. Just say it out loud often and with feeling.

Will this be the day you go for it? Will you go for that dream that keeps you up at night? Will you go for the dream that makes your heart pump faster and your mind spin out of control?

Not today? That’s ok. Don’t ever give up.You have 364 more chances this year to make it happen.

I wish for you to have a lifetime of very powerful tomorrows.

The 10 Ingredients That You’ll Need To Know In Order To Achieve Success In Life And Business…

Hi All,

You have a dream? You want success? You need to succeed? Here’s what you need to make it happen.

I don’t like the expression keys to success. There are no locks to success that need to be opened. Success really has an open door policy and it’s up to us just to walk on in and make all our dreams come true.

There are INGREDIENTS that need to be blended and a recipe to follow to create a successful life. As in cooking everyone will always add that little something of their own to the recipe to make it special and successful.

The 10 ingredients below are to be working together for and with you at all times. They’re not to be addressed as individual ingredients to be used individually at certain times. You will find that all these ingredients will blend and overlap each other on a daily basis. The more you know about each one and how it will affect you on your success journey the stronger and more accurate you’ll be when trying to hit your targets or goals.

The following are the 10 ingredients for success:

1-Support – Everyone needs a cheerleader. Everyone needs someone to go to for advice, support and information. When the body and mind want to quit you need a voice whispering in your ear that you can and will make it. Friends, family or other professionals could make up your success support team. This is the most critical ingredient for your success journey.

2-Dreams – Everything starts here. Whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve. Don’t let anyone tell you to give up on your dreams. Make your dreams an integral part of your life.

3-Goals – We all need direction. You need to know where you’re going and when you’ll be able to get there. Goals will help you with this. Make them big goals. Don’t be afraid to set big goals. Big goals will energize and inspire you.

4-Reality – You must learn how to deal with the harsh realities of life at the current moment and at the same time keep your eye on where you want to be. Your dreams and goals will help make this happen for you.

5-Positive Expectancy – You must be able to know in your heart that whatever life throws at you it will be ok and you’ll be ok. You must embrace and have faith in the notion that every day is another chance to start fresh and fix and adjust anything that knocked you off course.

6-Emotions – Emotions are yours and they are meant to help you and guide you. You must acknowledge them all and respect them. Let your emotions have their say and question why you feel that way. You’ll feel empowered and confident once you and your emotions become allies.

7-Fear – Everyone lives with this particular emotion. Courage is not the lack of fear it’s feeling the fear and moving forward anyway.

8-Think Negative – Expect the worst and hope for the best. This attitude will never let you down. It will stimulate questions that need to be answered and it will help in keeping you safe in business and in your personal life.

9-Questions – Questions get you answers. Answers are what you need to be able to achieve success in your life. Always ask questions that start with who, what, when, where, why and how. Question everything and your chances of success increase at an incredible rate. You can never ask too many questions.

10-Action – Just move forward. Adopt the attitude of ready, fire, aim instead of ready, aim, fire and make adjustments as you travel. You can’t get to where you’re going unless you get out of the house and let opportunity bump into you.

Embrace all 10 ingredients and as you move forward build your own success support community. As I said earlier this is the most critical ingredient of all.

Having success support is about having people in your life who care about you and are loyal to you as well as having people in your life who are positive, intelligent, ethical, and ambitious. Having quality people participating in your success journey and each person enthusiastically participating is absolutely essential to your success.

Your success support team gives you feedback, helps you brainstorm new possibilities, and sets up accountability structures that keep you focused and on track. You must create a success support group who will brainstorm together with you and help you move closer to all your goals and dreams. Success Support is a significant, critical ingredient for you achieving all your goals and making your dreams come true.

Good Luck,
Regards,
Barry

Who Loves Ya Baby? It Better Be You…

“You must love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.” Anonymous

Recently I was having one of my pitiful pity partys for a change . I was thinking , no I was feeling, that no one really cares about me. As I walked around talking to myself this one thought kept popping into my head… “Who loves Ya baby?”

Kojak was one of my all time favorite shows but I haven’t seen it since 1978. So where was this line coming from? I have always trusted and had faith in my gut feelings or intuition. When in doubt I always give my intuition the utmost respect and assume it is trying to tell me something. I take the time to make sure and I try to “listen”. This situation was no different.

By taking the time to try to “hear” what my Buitions (Barry + intuition) were telling me I stumbled (heard?) on a concept that I never really personally thought about. It is something I thought was for narcissists and old hippies. It was the notion of “Love Yourself”. My thoughts kept going in circles and I couldn’t grab on to them. The phrase “Love Yourself” was making me feel uncomfortable.

I started to read about and look into this “Self-Love” concept when I came across this quote:

“If you aren’t good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you’ll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren’t even giving to yourself.” Barbara De Angelis

My body literally tingled the moment I read this quote. I knew I was on to something.

This story does not have an ending. It is my stage one for exploring the concept of “Love Yourself”. I have always had a high degree of self confidence and self esteem but I never conciously thought about this “Love” angle. I started reading about the concept of self-love and more interesting than that I started to talk to myself more loudly and forcefully than ever before.

It’s amazing what you “hear” when you do talk out loud and what you feel. Try It! It will take some time to get used to doing it but once you start you won’t be able to shut yourself up.

I will keep you posted on “Loving Myself”.

Good luck out there…
Best Wishes,
Barry

I Talk And Hang Out With My Dead Friends . . . .

Some of the strongest members of my Personal Success Support Community are dead. Napoleon Hill , Harry Truman, Winston Churchill and Dale Carnegie are a few of the men who have inspired me and kept me motivated all through my career. When things get tough or I need some encouragement, I make time to “talk” with these men. Let me explain . . . .

For the most part we stand alone in life. Yes, you may have friends, Family and colleagues in your life but when the day is done you’re standing by yourself and directing your own journey . Only you make the final decisions in your life. You may confer with your significant other or a friend but the final decision is yours.

Life is so complex and so intense sometimes that being able to embrace the proper support and counsel at anytime, day or night is , I think, so critical to success in your personal or professional life.

One way to achieve that opportunity is Biographies. Biographies can be inspirational and life changing in a number of ways, and will be remembered for the time in your life when you need this back up. Obviously it doesn’t matter if someone is alive or dead. The personal history of that person matters and what matters the most is how it affects and makes you feel.

It’s not only Biographies, it’s any book or article that inspires you, motivates you and gives you the strength to move forward for the next few moments or the next few days. Finding and storing Success sayings and quotes are another piece to have for your Success Support library. Buillding your own Success Support library and having it at your fingertips will be an essential piece of your own Personal Success Support community.

The following will allow you to have some of the support you need 24/7 when you need it . . . . .

1- Buy folders and file your articles and notes by category. Break them into the following:
Persistence; Success; Action ; Attitude; self Confidence;Positive Sayings; Positive Thinking to name a few.

2- Underline copy that moves you and tag the page with a post-it. Mark the post-it with the page number and a word or two about what is on that page.

Most of us, swimming against the tides of trouble the world knows nothing about, need only a bit of praise or encouragement – and we will make the goal. ~Jerome Fleishman

Good Luck
Best wishes now and forever

Are You Letting Your Fear of Change Deprive You and Your Loved Ones of Life’s Treasures?

A security Team was hired to stand guard at your favorite restaurant and the only reason for it was to keep you and your family out.

Would you turn around sheepishly and go home or move forward and through the security to the owner?

Of course it’s a crazy scenario but that’s what is happening when “fear of change” is preventing you from moving forward and enjoying what life has sitting and waiting for you.

It’s your own private security force haunting you 24/7. Take that first step. Make it a little step but take it… It’s not only about you, it’s also about the people who love you.

Do you fear change because you’re comfortable with your present situation? Is it because adapting to something new could be too challenging for you ? It could be either one, but neither is a good argument.

Change isn’t a scary thing at all. Change keeps things fresh, and is a catalyst to excitement and pleasure. If things remain unchanged, they become boring and repetitive; your life becomes lost and wrapped up in a never ending cycle of consistency.

Yes, there might be a level of relaxation that is reached in this unbothered series of uniformity. But why relax? Do you really want to wake up every morning and press ‘play’, and watch your uninteresting life unfold the way it did the day prior, knowing that tomorrow will play out the same way as well?

I don’t ever want to press ‘play’, and know what is coming. That is why I embrace change. Now, I’m not saying that I change careers every few months because I can’t stand routines. It goes way beyond that. I just simply never stop looking for new opportunities, and new ways to challenge myself and excite myself.

“The deepest human defeat suffered by human beings is constituted by the difference between what one was capable of becoming and what one has in fact become.” Ashley Montagu

Things around us are changing rapidly. Yes, we have our first African-American president. We finally have stem-cell research implemented. And of course the advancement of technology is mind-blowing. The future looks so promising and exciting, and we need to all get on board and take this thrilling ride together. Find something that you are passionate about and run with it.

Don’t settle for mediocrity, and don’t fear change. . . . .Take a look at your life, and see what could use some changing.

“The only way past fear is to go through it” Author Unknown

You might be making decent money, and providing for your loved ones and yourself with a comfortable living, but are you happy? Are you happy or are you just content with your daily routine? Being content means you aren’t challenging yourself. Spice things up. Spark up conversation with different people every day. You’ll never know what kind of interesting people you can meet.

Take up a hobby that you adore. Whether it be writing or painting, jamming out to your favorite music, or taking up outdoor activities; do it and enjoy it.

Go and volunteer, and do some community work. Give back and help other people out.

Create a wish-list of things you want to do, places you want to see, people you want to meet, and things that will make your life exhilarating. Write these things down, and create the necessary changes that need to be made in your life in order to experience these wishes.

Don’t get comfortable, embrace the challenge, embrace the change and overcome the fear, because at the end of the day you’ll see, change is good. . . .For everyone!
